Not all of the villages
welcomed them and sometimes they were
mistreated. Some people even beat the
missionaries and damaged their musical
instruments. But the missionaries continued
to tell how Jesus heals the sick and can
forgive all sins. Many people believed and
were baptized, including me, my brother, and
my sister.
One day I fell sick and could not walk or
stand properly. My brothers and sisters
prayed for me and the missionaries also came
to pray for me. After a few days God
strengthened me, I recovered, and praised
the Lord!

When I was older, one of the missionaries
asked if I was ready to attend a Bible
school and I agreed to go. I spent three
years learning all the things I possibly
could, like teaching, singing, and playing
instruments. I am grateful to God that He
gave me the chance to study and helped me
through school.
After I finished my education, I worked in
the fields during the daytime and did song
services in the evenings. I am married and
have become a pastor in my village. During
the difficult times in His service, I was
able to face all the problems because God
was with me. Now I am proud to use the
things I learned to work for God. I am
thankful for the ministry of a Nazarene
JESUS film team and for being able to use
the JESUS
film in my village. I am very thankful to
God and to the Church of the Nazarene that I
can continue to tell His story.
